One Tired Woman
Hey Yall! Long time no blog! Lots of things have been going on in Frannycakes life....no, nothing that you should be worried about....just things that have had her preoccupied and away from blogging. Hopefully, life is slowing down and I will be blogging again regularly.
I know that some of you are interested in how Scottie is doing. He is still in intensive care and is in very critical condition. His family is still requesting prayer from everyone and so that is what I am asking from you. I will be posting the updates again from Scott, Scottie's father.
Julianne has started her classes and studying. She is loving her apartment. I plan to go there next weekend to start celebrating her 21st birthday! It is so hard to believe that 21 years have gone by since she came into our lives. And what a nice surprise she was!
Last week my cousin Becky from Florida came for a visit. I introduced her to the finer stores here in Maine....Goodwill and Mardens! She was impressed. And she loved the Christmas Tree Shoppes. All I can say is that if you don't have one of these near you, you are missing out! We went somewhere different each day and came in late every night. I know she must be exhausted because today I slept off and on all day!
I had an appointment with the dentist last Tuesday. I got two crowns and two cavities filled. They are all on the lower left side. My face is still swollen and my jaw doesn't want to open all the way. Ugh! I have an appointment tomorrow morning to get my bite adjusted. They thought they had that taken care of when I left but I was so numb on the left side that I guess I was not able to bite down correctly. My appointment was at 9 am and I didn't get feeling again until 5 that afternoon. Mercy! I don't think I want to ever have that much done again at one time.
That's about all I have for right now. Please remember Scottie and his family. They need our prayers. They are having to make decisions that no parent ever wants to have to make. My heart is breaking for them.
I will talk to you tomorrow. Tootles.
