They are about to be gone! Fall is here and the leaves are turning colors and falling off the trees. The tomato plants are ripening their fruit and will soon complete their season. The bell peppers are some of the last on the plants. And the golf balls will be put away until next spring.
It all makes me want to start a fire and settle in for the winter! What about you?

Oh gee - and here I thought they were all things you found in your garden!!! Actually, I thought the golf balls were all of the ones that my youngest lost this past summer!! Guess I know what to get him for Christmas!
Is that all the golf balls in your yard on that day? If so, someone needs to quit golf. No wonder this is why Maine is not known for its golf courses.
I'm ready for winter too. We've had a drought this summer so the word is the leaves wont be as colorful.
